Job summary

Horizon Behavioral Health in Lynchburg, VA seeks a Lead Registered Nurse for the Crisis Receiving Center. This full-time role provides onsite nursing leadership, patient care as needed, and crisis intervention planning.

The CRC Lead RN supervises RNs, LPNs, and CNAs, coordinates schedules, recruitment, and training to ensure high-quality care. Eligible candidates must be licensed RN in Virginia with 4 years RN experience including ≥1 year in a lead role; BSN preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be a graduate of an accredited nursing program and licensed RN in Virginia (or multi-state license).
• BSN preferred.
• Four years RN experience, including at least one year supervisory/lead nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide onsite leadership to CRC nursing staff and collaborative treatment planning.
• Deliver patient care as needed and participate in crisis intervention services.
• Supervise RNs, LPNs, and CNAs; help with staffing, recruitment, and training/education.
• Coordinate nurse schedule, training, and performance evaluations.
