Job summary

Circular Services is seeking a Night Shift Lead in San Antonio, TX to supervise night-time production and direct crew members operating recycling equipment. You will promote safety and ensure efficient processing of materials including metal, glass, plastic, paper, and cardboard.

The role requires leadership in a fast-paced plant, strong mechanical aptitude, and good communication. This is a full-time on-site position offering benefits such as FSA, vacation, and retirement matching.

Qualifications

• Lead experience in a fast-paced recycling/manufacturing/production environment.
• Excellent mechanical ability and analytical skills.
• Follow procedures and written instructions.
• Ability to work in a plant processing environment for extended periods.
• Strong verbal and written communication; team collaboration.

Responsibilities

• Promote safety, health, environmental, and operational policies.
• Provide day-to-day guidance to night-shift employees.
• Assign tasks based on production needs and model safe practices.
• Monitor sorting, equipment operation, processing, and baling activities.
• Inspect equipment and report maintenance or operational concerns.
• Support workflow, productivity, and material quality improvements.
• Enter production information and assist with time, attendance, and reports.
• Provide hands-on support across operational areas.
• Lead by example and maintain a positive, accountable environment.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
