Job summary

Velcro Companies in Somersworth, NH seeks a Third Shift Supervisor to coordinate production, lead teams, ensure safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will manage daily staffing, drive Lean initiatives, monitor schedules, and mentor Lead Hands while collaborating with Department Managers to meet goals. Requires ERP/Oracle and MS Office skills; shift is 11:00 PM–7:00 AM, Sunday through Friday.

Qualifications

• BS degree and/or applicable vocational experience.
• Minimum 5 years supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Computer skills: MS Office, Oracle, SPC programs.
• Effective communication and written skills.
• Demonstrated knowledge of Strategy Deployment and LEAN principles.
• Ability to be flexible in assigned tasks, duties, schedules, locations, and travel.
• Demonstrated ability to motivate, train and develop skill-set for manufacturing supervision, manufacturing technical resources, and manufacturing production associates.

Responsibilities

• Supervise all production operations on an assigned shift within the facility including machinery, assembly, or material handling operations to achieve quality and output.
• Monitor daily schedule using manufacturing and process controls.
• Organize daily assignments and direct personnel to achieve productivity goals.
• Ensure quality system compliance and timely MRB disposition.
• Work with Department Managers/Supervisors to hit department goals.
• Lead safety, lean, 5S initiatives and performance reviews.
