Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Coastal Virginia is seeking a Lead Worker for Commercial Services at Brightpoint Community College Chester, working 9:30pm–6:00am, Monday to Friday, in the Finance area. The role focuses on supervising and training associates in janitorial/housekeeping duties and ensuring tasks meet quality standards.

The candidate should have a High School Diploma or GED, 1–3 years in a related field, and be capable of basic computer use and Microsoft Office.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
1-3 Years' experience in a related field preferred.
No professional certifications are required for this position.
The associate is not required to drive as part of their job duties.
Associates in the position will be required to successfully pass both a criminal and sex offender background check. Based on the work location a state background check may also be required.
Basic ability to operate a computer using Microsoft Office software and basic typing skills, required.

Responsibilities

Supervise and train associates in janitorial/housekeeping duties at designated work sites.
Ensure daily/periodic tasks are completed on time and to quality standards.
Complete shift paperwork, handle customer service complaints and service tickets.
Monitor supplies and equipment; request additional supplies using a just-in-time inventory system.
