Job summary

Sharp HealthCare seeks an Environmental Services Lead Aide for night shifts to support the EVS Supervisor in maintaining a sanitary hospital environment across patient care and public areas.

You will perform housekeeping duties in a lead capacity, ensure safety and infection control, manage shift coverage, and train staff while adhering to hospital policies.

Required are a high school diploma and a California driver’s license; strong English communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or Equivalent.
• Current CA driver's license, required (AM and PM shift only).

Responsibilities

• Maintains a safe, clean working environment and infection control standards.
• Ensures completion of all shifts' duties and communicates to next shift.
• Troubleshoots and resolves daily problems for departmental staff during shifts.
• Arranges coverage for absences and ensures EVS worker breaks are taken.
• Performs duties of EVS Supervisor in their absence (except evaluations).
• Adheres to safety policies and ensures clear hallways.
