Job summary

Accurus Aerospace Tulsa is seeking a Night Shift Lead Deburr Technician to oversee grinding, deburring, polishing and edge-break operations on metal and synthetic parts. The role includes mentoring new staff, inspecting work, and performing related administrative tasks under the Supervisor.

Candidates must meet ITAR US Person requirements; must stand for long periods, lift up to 50 pounds, and work on-site in a manufacturing shop.

Qualifications

HS Diploma or GED is required.
Ability to lead, coach, and train a team.
Willingness to help others and mentor.
Vocational hands-on manufacturing training preferred.
Minimum 2 years of experience.
Experience with measurement tools required.

Responsibilities

Trains new employees and mentors skill development during the introductory period.
Communicates professionally and conveys instructions to others.
Operates carbide burr tools to remove excess material without damaging parts.
Blending a variety of material types; create radii by hand and correct machining errors.
Maintain equipment and inspect belts and grinding wheels; ensure finish meets specs.
Maintain a clean, safe work area and adhere to safety guidelines.
Regular attendance on-site and follow supervisor instructions.
