Job summary

SpaceX is seeking a Launch Quality Inspector - Night Shift to perform in-process and final inspections on structural and propulsion components, ensuring conformity to design and test requirements. You will document anomalies, communicate issues, and support aerospace development and launch readiness.

The role requires hands-on work with cutting-edge rocket technology, attention to detail, and the ability to work night shifts as part of a dedicated QA team.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of inspection experience in aerospace, military, or manufacturing environments.
• High school diploma or equivalency.

Responsibilities

• Perform inspections (in-process and final) on structural and propulsion components and subassemblies.
• Inspect, verify, and support structures and propulsion development and acceptance testing; ensure compliance with design and testing requirements.
• Document production and test anomalies per prescribed procedures.
• Communicate and help resolve quality-related issues across sites.
• Process non-conforming product and escalate issues as needed.
• Observe operations and provide technical guidance as needed.
• Determine manufacturing compliance to NASA, customer, and internal specifications for launch readiness.
