Job summary

Prime Healthcare’s Southern Regional Medical Center in Riverdale, GA seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for night shift (7 pm - 7 am). This full-time position delivers comprehensive care to mothers and newborns and collaborates with the healthcare team during routine and emergency events.

Eligible candidates hold an RN license with BSN preferred; required certifications include BLS, ACLS, NRP, and fetal monitoring credentials. Sign-on bonus of $15,000 is available for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Current and valid RN license in the state
• BSN degree preferred
• BLS certification within 30 days and maintained
• ACLS certification within 90 days and maintained
• NRP certification within 90 days and maintained
• Basic Fetal monitoring within 60 days of hire and maintained
• AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring within 12 months
• AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring preferred
• STABLE preferred

Responsibilities

• Maternal monitoring of vital signs and signs of complications
• Provide labor support, positioning, breathing guidance, comfort measures
• IV therapy setup and maintenance for hydration and medications
• Advocate for patient preferences and safety
• Newborn care including Apgar scoring and immediate assessment
