Job summary

ARMStaffing is seeking a Registered Nurse specializing in Labor and Delivery for night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM in Mount Pleasant, TX. The role focuses on obstetric care from 20 weeks gestation onward, managing labor and deliveries, and providing postpartum care.

The ideal candidate has 2+ years in L&D, valid TX RN license, BLS, ACLS, NRP, and C-EFM/NCC EFM certification, with BSN preferred. The position offers comprehensive benefits and professional support from ARMStaffing.

Qualifications

BSN preferred.
Minimum of 2 years of L&D experience.
BLS certification (AHA).
C-EFM/NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring certification.
NRP and ACLS certifications (AHA).
Texas RN license or compact state license.

Responsibilities

Utilize the nursing process for assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation for assigned patients.
Administer medications and treatments following established protocols while monitoring for side effects and efficacy.
Document patient history, symptoms, care provided, and education given.
Address complex psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs of patients and families.
Make appropriate assignments and delegate tasks to other caregivers to manage the clinical situation effectively.
