Job summary

Novant Health is seeking a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse to provide compassionate, patient-centered care during labor, delivery, and recovery. You will work with physicians and a multidisciplinary team to support safe deliveries and create a positive birthing experience.

Night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM across three 12-hour shifts per week, with every other weekend and six Friday or Saturday night shifts per scheduling period. Self-scheduling options and flexible scheduling are available.

Qualifications

4 Year / Bachelors Degree, preferred. Graduate of an accredited school of nursing required.
One year relevant experience, preferred.
Current RN licensure in appropriate state, required.

Responsibilities

Assess and prioritize patients across a wide range of conditions, injuries, and acuity levels.
Respond quickly to changing patient needs using critical thinking, clinical judgment, and evidence-based practice.
Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver coordinated care.
Administer medications, treatments, and emergency interventions in a fast-paced environment.
Educate, support, and advocate for patients and families throughout their emergency care experience.
