Job summary

PeaceHealth Southwest Medical Center in Vancouver, Washington, seeks a Labor & Delivery Registered Nurse (0.9 FTE, Nights) to support the Family Birth Center. You will care for patients across the birth experience—antepartum through postpartum and newborn care—while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure safe, compassionate, family-centered care.

The role includes circulating in the OR for cesarean deliveries, monitoring maternal and fetal well-being, and educating families

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• Current Washington RN License or Multistate RN License by date of hire.
• BLS certification by date of hire.
• Minimum one year of Labor & Delivery RN experience within the last two years.
• ACLS within six months of hire.
• NRP within six months of hire.
• Electronic Fetal Monitoring (EFM) within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide antepartum, labor & delivery, postpartum, and newborn care.
• Circulate in the OR for cesarean deliveries.
• Monitor maternal and fetal well-being throughout labor.
• Educate and support patients and families throughout the birthing journey.
• Collaborate with OB providers, anesthesia, NICU teams, and fellow caregivers to deliver exceptional care.

Education

Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing

Current Washington RN License
