Job summary

Cardinal Health in Kentucky is hiring for Nuclear Manufacturing roles to produce radiopharmaceuticals in a highly regulated setting. You will handle synthesis, QC testing, and documentation for production lots.

The job requires overnight shifts, strict adherence to procedures, and active participation in safety and quality programs. Training will be provided with rotating shifts and weekend coverage as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, science background preferred.
• 0–1 years of experience preferred.
• Lab experience highly preferred.
• Must be able to work overnight shift (facility operates at night).
• Experience in manufacturing in a controlled/regulatory environment desired.
• Effective written and verbal English communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manufactures radioactive isotopes including synthesis setup and hot cell manipulations.
• Conducts quality control testing on each batch using GC, dose calibrator, HPLC, TLC, and other instruments.
• Works in ISO 7 cleanroom to prepare product and customer vials.
• Performs environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5/7/8 environments.
• Coordinates daily production run schedule based on customer and pharmacy needs.
• Maintains daily production records and documentation; supports SAP inventory tasks.
• Performs daily radiation safety tasks and regular lab cleaning.
