Job summary

Cardinal Health in Glendale Heights, IL, seeks an overnight Nuclear Manufacturing associate to produce radiopharmaceuticals in an ISO-cleanroom environment. You will receive extensive training, operate specialized equipment, and support quality control and documentation for compliant production.

The role requires overnight availability, ability to handle multiple tasks, and thorough adherence to safety and regulatory standards.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED or equivalent; sciences preferred
• 0–1 years experience preferred; lab experience preferred
• Must work overnight shift; facility operates at night
• Experience in regulated manufacturing environments desired
• Strong written and verbal English communication
• Ability to follow detailed processing instructions
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and exercise good judgment
• Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and discern colors in liquids
• Good hearing and communication in manufacturing settings
• Manual dexterity for equipment operation

Responsibilities

• Complete extensive training including e-learning and hands-on components
• Manufacture radioactive isotopes with setup, hot cell manipulations, and distribution
• Perform quality control testing on each batch using specified instruments
• Work in ISO 7 cleanroom to produce product and customer vials
• Conduct environmental and personnel monitoring in ISO 5/7/8 environments
• Coordinate daily production run schedule based on needs
• Maintain daily production records, report preparation and records
• Manage SAP Inventory including receiving, inspecting, and cycle counts
• Perform daily radiation safety tasks and lab cleaning
