Job summary

The position features 12-hour NIGHT shifts (8 pm–8 am, three days on, three days off, two days on, two days off) including every other weekend. The candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related field and have experience

Qualifications

• Minimum of bachelor’s degree in chemistry or related degree and experience in analysis of organics (wet chemistry, chromatography and spectroscopy).
• Applied knowledge and experience in math skills, analysis, and operation of lab equipment.
• Exhibit time management skills to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, test, and report results for materials at various stages of the manufacturing process according to established SOPs.
• Develop a thorough understanding of chemical testing equipment and processes.
• Apply knowledge and experience in math skills, analysis, and operation of lab equipment.
• Accurately document test results in logs and data systems.
• Practice good laboratory and safety techniques.
• Clean and maintain laboratory glassware.
• Keep the laboratory area clean and organized.
• Basic knowledge of hazardous materials and the appropriate handling and disposal of such products preferred.
