You will lead staff, ensure compliance with hospital and regulatory standards, and drive continuous improvement. The position requires a BS in Clinical Technology or related science, 4–6 years of hospital lab experience, and NY CLAB certification.

Qualifications

• Requires a BS degree in Clinical Technology or related science.
• 4-6 years of hospital laboratory experience required.
• High proficiency with regulatory standards and accreditation.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving capabilities.
• Excellent communication within and outside the lab.
• CLAB Clinical Lab Technologist in NY state required.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee department operations ensuring compliance with hospital policies and accreditation standards.
• Support hospital initiatives; participate in committees and projects as needed.
• Participate in Performance Improvement programs and ensure staff meet competency and education requirements.
• Maintain customer service excellence and positive staff relations.
• Train staff on tests, supervise bench testing, and manage scheduling and payroll.
• Coordinate QC programs, instrument maintenance, and test system performance.
