Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent plus phlebotomy training or 2 years specimen experience.
• Alternatively, a 2-year degree in chemical, physical, or biological science or health-related field.
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team and follow procedures.
• Color vision acuity is required and a color-acuity screening test must be passed.

Responsibilities

• Assign duties and tasks for Laboratory Technical Assistant.
• Collect and process specimens for neonate to geriatric patients.
• Assist with laboratory data systems and ensure proper ordering, cancellations and charges.
