Job summary

Zoetis Louisville KY is seeking a Maintenance Engineer to apply technical expertise in reference lab instrumentation maintenance, ensuring equipment health, reliability and performance. You will perform regularly scheduled maintenance and collaborate with operations and other functions to support daily lab activities.

The role includes off-hours support, participation in validation studies and quality improvement projects, and training colleagues. Strong communication and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of working laboratory experience
• 1+ years of scientific equipment maintenance

Responsibilities

• Provide daily, weekly, monthly equipment & instrumentation maintenance for laboratory equipment
• Collaborate with IT, Procurement, Operations, QA to integrate systems
• Contribute to project timelines, progress reports and lessons learned
• Foster open communication and teamwork to ensure operational success
• Attend and participate in team and project meetings
• Support go-live activities at new laboratory sites
• Refine Operations Support functions and participate in improvement projects
• Participate in training sessions and validation testing studies
• Lead or participate in quality improvement or strategic projects
