Quest Diagnostics Incorporated in Tucker, GA, is hiring a Lab Assistant (Specimen Technician I) for Monday to Friday, 10:00 PM to 6:30 AM. Pay starts at $17.75 per hour with a possible 10% shift differential on second shift and 15% on third shift.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or equivalent required or preferred.
• Production or medical environment experience beneficial.
• Flexibility to work night shifts, weekends, holidays, on call and overtime as needed.

Responsibilities

• Data entry of test orders and processing specimens.
• Presort, pickup and delivery of processed specimens to the laboratory.
• Centrifugation, aliquoting and preparing specimens for analysis.
• Identify problems with specimen types and resolve basic issues.
• Understand relationships between tests ordered and specimens received.
