Job summary

Gopher Resource is seeking a Lab Analyst to collect and analyze data, ensuring safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across production processes. The role supports Shift Supervisors by troubleshooting lab instruments, conducting finished-product analyses, and addressing environmental concerns.

The position involves rotating 4pm-4am shifts on a 2/2/3/2 schedule. Starting pay is $32.31/hr plus a $1.00/hr night differential, with full benefits and a monthly bonus potential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is minimally required.
• Preferred Bachelor's degree in Chemistry or related field.
• Minimum 2 years of lab or production experience.
• Ability to read, write and perform basic math with accuracy.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and analyze samples to ensure safety and quality standards.
• Calibrate and perform control checks on analytical instruments.
• Operate high-volume air monitors and assist in SOP development.
• Train new lab staff and support supervisors on technical issues.
• Maintain laboratory cleanliness and participate in meetings.
