Job summary

Saint Francis Hospital, part of Trinity Health Of New England, seeks a Labor and Delivery RN for a 12-hour night shift in Hartford, CT. The unit includes 14 labor/delivery/recovery rooms and 2 Cesarean delivery rooms, with a 4-bed triage bay and a high/low risk obstetric focus.

The role delivers obstetric nursing care through antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care, with a comprehensive benefits package and competitive compensation.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing; BSN preferred.
• Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
• BLS (AHA/ARC) certification.
• Preferred: Acute Care, Maternity or Labor & Delivery nursing experience.

Responsibilities

• Deliver care for obstetric patients following established standards of practice.
• Coordinate care across antepartum, intrapartum and immediate postpartum phases for mother and infant.
