Job summary

The Hospitals of Providence is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for a full-time night shift. The RN will provide direct clinical care, supervise staff on the unit, and support the Chief Nursing Officer to ensure safe, high-quality patient care.

Requirements include a nursing degree, active RN license, and applicable certifications (BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP as required). This role emphasizes care coordination, safety, and resource management in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Education: Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Nursing preferred.
• Experience: 1 year of RN experience for PRN status.
• Experience: Recent acute care experience preferred.
• Certifications: Current license/certification to practice; BLS required; ACLS/PALS/NRP as applicable.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality, safe nursing care to all patients.
• Coordinate and integrate patient care based on the nursing process.
• Direct care per safety standards and infection control policies.
• Coordinate and plan patient care within prescribed medical regimens.
• Administer medications safely per hospital policy.
• Fulfill Hospital Incident Command System responsibilities during emergencies.
• Know and follow hospital emergency codes and procedures.
