Qualifications

• Current NYS RN license required.
• One year of Med Surg or Maternity experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assess the needs of each patient and plan nursing care accordingly.
• Deliver and coordinate care, including spiritual, emotional and physiological needs.
• Be directly accountable to the Nurse Manager for patient care quality.
• Adapt care to the age, growth and development of patients in the unit.
• Fulfill charge role responsibilities including clinical and leadership duties.
• Ensure the care plan is executed and continuously evaluated.
