Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to monitor patients during labor and serve as the primary contact for families. The RN will monitor the baby’s heart rate and provide immediate newborn care, while supporting mothers and families.

The role involves documenting maternal vitals, delivering medications as ordered, and educating families on infant care. Shift is 3x12 nights in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Phlebotomy, IV insertion and central line care knowledge required.
• Ability to monitor maternal vital signs during labor and post-partum.
• Proficiency in administering pain medications and other ordered drugs.
• Ability to educate and support new mothers and families on infant care.

Responsibilities

• Monitor mother and fetus during labor.
• Record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages.
• Administer pain relief and other medications as ordered.
• Educate families on infant care and postnatal needs.
