Job summary

Gifted Healthcare is seeking a Labor and Delivery RN to monitor patients during labor and serve as the primary contact for families. The RN will monitor the baby’s heart rate and provide immediate newborn care.

Responsibilities include phlebotomy knowledge, IVs and central lines, assessing maternal vitals through labor and postpartum, adminstering medications as ordered, and educating families on infant care. Shift: 3x12 Nights.

Responsibilities

• Perform knowledge of phlebotomy, basic IV, and central lines
• Assess and record maternal vital signs throughout labor and post-partum stages
• Administer pain medication and other medicines as ordered
• Educate and support new mothers and families on infant care
