Job summary

Methodist Dallas Medical Center in Dallas, TX is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide high‑level nursing care to assigned patients, using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation) to ensure quality outcomes.

This role requires graduation from an accredited nursing program, current Texas license (or eligibility), BLS certification, and at least one year of L&D RN experience in a fast‑paced acute care setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Basic Life Support Certification.
• Current Texas nursing license or eligibility to practice.
• At least 1 year of L&D RN experience.

Responsibilities

• Adheres to hospital standards to promote a cooperative work environment.
• Maintains clear, timely written and spoken communication with the team, patients and families.
• Provides nursing components of the patient/family/significant other education process.
• Delivers safe medication and IV administration with accuracy.
• Uses the nursing process to ensure quality patient care throughout the episode of care.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
