Job summary

Kitchen Guard of DMV is hiring a Night Shift Kitchen Cleaning Technician for our New Haven CT location. You will operate on-site to clean and maintain commercial kitchen exhaust systems, including hoods, ductwork, filters, and fans.

The role requires the ability to work independently, perform tasks safely, and manage equipment. We offer a locally owned opportunity with paid time off and room for advancement, with a competitive hourly rate of $19.00–$23.00.

Qualifications

• Be physically able to climb ladders to access rooftops.
• Ability to lift and carry 50 lbs., up to 100 feet.
• Able to stand for 10 hours.
• Excellent attention to detail and work fast and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Power washing kitchen exhaust systems, covering hoods, ductwork, filters, and exhaust fans.
• Efficient setup and takedown of job sites and equipment.
• Performing tasks independently without direct supervision.
• Maintain and manage equipment, and report any discrepancies.
