Job summary

Washington County’s Juvenile Services is seeking a Juvenile Counselor I to work overnight at Harkins House, supporting youth ages 12–18 in a milieu setting. You will supervise, run groups, organize outings, and ensure safety while documenting progress and coordinating with a close-knit team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in criminal justice, counseling, psychology, sociology, social work, or related field.
• Associate’s degree plus 3 years of supervised juvenile counseling experience; OR five years of supervised experience.
• Must possess Oregon driver’s license and good driving record.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct care and supervision for youth in a milieu setting.
• Lead groups, supervise outings, and support skill-building activities.
