Job summary

White Tail Automation is seeking Instrumentation & Electrical Technicians for their Longmont, Colorado team. This role involves night shift work on a 7/7 rotation, supporting production facilities with preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.

The ideal candidate is a journeyman-level technician with strong electrical skills and a passion for continuous learning and teamwork.

Qualifications

• Journeyman Instrument Technician with strong electrical knowledge (dual ticketed preferred).
• 2-5 years of experience with process control instrumentation and electrical/industrial electronics.
• Intermediate skills in math and reading wire diagrams and schematics.
• Proven technical skills in fault finding and repairing complex systems.
• Experience in control valve maintenance and repair.
• Certified training with pneumatic, hydraulic, and electromechanical valve actuators is highly regarded.
• Knowledge of predictive maintenance activities and ability to document procedures.
• Strong troubleshooting, analytical, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work individually and in teams.
• High attention to detail and ability to work in a changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems on production facilities.
• Support production facilities with electrical/instrumentation repairs on night shift.
• Document procedures and maintain accurate maintenance records.
