Job summary

Qualifications

• 1 year of janitorial supervisory experience preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to show judgment and to work independently and lead the team.
• High integrity required.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and train the janitorial staff in the building.
• Designate shift and area work assignments.
• Manage employee relations or performance issues and report to management or HR.
• Inspect the jobsite regularly for quality concerns and needed work.
• Identify and communicate the need for special project work to management.
• Operate floor cleaning equipment as needed (buffer, walk behind, spot-carpet cleaner).
• Respond to customer concerns or complaints promptly.
• Enforce safety policies and report accidents.
• Complete required training courses.
• Clean restrooms, breakrooms, common areas, dust, and trash.
• Sweep, mop and vacuum; perform advanced floor care as needed.
