Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is seeking a Cleaner to maintain cleanliness of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, and related spaces. This role requires reliability, good communication, and the ability to work a demanding shift schedule.

Shifts are 6 pm – 6 am with 4 days on and 3 days off, rotating as needed. The position offers full-time employment with a comprehensive benefits package typical for Harvard Maintenance, including medical, dental, life, and LTD coverage and a 401K plan.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas
• Empty trash and recycling bins, and dispose of waste properly
• Cleaning includes sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors in all areas
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums
• Follow all health and safety regulations and company policies
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management
• Perform additional duties as required, including attending to flooded areas, incidental spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns
