Job summary

Harvard Maintenance, Inc. is hiring a Cleaner to perform basic cleaning across common areas, restrooms, entrances and other spaces. The position offers multiple shifts and opportunities for full-time, part-time, and seasonal work.

The ideal candidate has at least 1 year of experience, reliable transportation, and the ability to meet physical demands such as bending, lifting, and standing for long periods. We value safety, teamwork, and dependable performance.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills.
• Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
• Must be willing to work assigned hours.
• Capable of performing the physical demands of the job, including bending, kneeling, carrying, lifting, reaching, and standing for extended periods.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic cleaning of all common areas, restrooms, entrances, elevators, walkways, windows, furniture, fixtures, stairs, chairs, tables, telephones, drinking fountains, trash, dusting and polishing.
• Clean, sanitize, and restock restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
• Empty trash and recycling bins and dispose of waste properly.
• Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors in all areas.
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, buffers, and vacuums.
• Follow health and safety regulations and company policies.
• Report maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
• Attend to flooded areas, spills, and related clean-up work for trash and restroom concerns.
