Job summary

Magna Seating South Carolina is seeking a Systems Administrator for night shift to support manufacturing IT infrastructure, ERP/MES systems, and plant-floor applications. You will manage Windows and Linux environments, coordinate with vendors, and ensure system reliability and disaster recovery.

Bachelor-level IT degree and 3+ years in IT are required. Responsibilities include incident response, backups, security access, and continuous improvement across IT and manufacturing functions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in IT related field
• Minimum 3 years IT/Info Sys experience
• Experience with vendors/third-party support
• Strong SQL reporting and data analysis skills
• Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and enterprise IT practices
• ITIL familiarity or certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Provide night-shift IT support for manufacturing systems and infrastructure
• Escalate and resolve complex incidents affecting production
• Maintain documentation, backups, and system configurations
• Coordinate with vendors and internal teams for changes and outages
• Support ERP/MES, reporting tools, and plant-floor IT applications
