Job summary

Magna Seating is seeking an IT Systems Administrator for night shift at our South Carolina facility. You will support manufacturing IT systems, perform analysis, and drive improvements across Windows, Linux, and enterprise applications. You will serve as a technical escalation point and partner with vendors to ensure system reliability.

The role requires a strong background in SQL reporting, ITIL/ITSM concepts, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Information Technology, Software Engineering, or related field (or equivalent).
• Minimum 3 years in IT/IS.
• Experience with vendors and third-party support.
• SQL query writing and data analysis.
• Knowledge of ITIL/ITSM concepts.
• Ability to work independently and in teams.

Responsibilities

• Support night shift IT operations and manufacturing IT systems.
• Escalate and resolve complex incidents and service requests.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams for issue resolution.
• Maintain system documentation and perform backups and recovery testing.
• Provide guidance to Help Desk and junior staff.
• Implement continuous improvements to IT and manufacturing systems.
