Job summary

ark data centers, LLC is seeking an IT Support Specialist to respond to client inquiries and resolve technical issues with a focus on courteous, timely service. The role requires remote hands at the desktop and server level, escalation coordination, and after-hours on-site facility support for emergency response.

Responsibilities include triage, monitoring infrastructure, in-person/remote assistance, and documenting resolutions to improve first-call resolution and overall service quality.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent work experience in a computer/IT field.
• 1+ year of customer service experience in a technical support role.
• ITIL v3/v4 Foundation certification or ITIL experience preferred.
• IT-related certifications preferred (CompTIA A+, Network+, Server+, CCNA or Microsoft).
• Strong desktop/laptop/network/hardware/software/troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Server Technologies, VMware.
• Knowledge of Windows OS, Active Directory, O365.
• Experience using service management systems for ticketing.

Responsibilities

• Provide initial analysis and triage for issues reported via phone, monitoring alerts, or service portals.
• Monitor critical infrastructure and security systems; provide data center remote hands support.
• Respond to technical inquiries in person, by phone, or electronically based on urgency.
• Diagnose, research, and resolve hardware, software, and application issues; escalate as needed.
