Job summary

The MetroHealth System is seeking an Inventory Clerk for the MetroHealth Medical Center in Cleveland to maintain efficient operation of the storeroom and manage the flow of supplies and services in a fast-paced clinical setting.

You will liaise with technologists, nursing personnel, internal departments and vendors to ensure accuracy, timeliness, and quality of service while upholding the system's mission and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2 years of experience in inventory control, storeroom activities, or clinical services.
• Knowledge of clinical equipment and supplies.
• Detail-oriented with high accuracy.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Good customer service skills.
• Sound judgment, flexibility, initiative, and problem solving.
• Ability to interact effectively with diverse backgrounds.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the efficient and effective operation of the inventory storeroom for assigned area(s).
• Initiates and monitors the flow of operational supplies and services.
• Serves as a liaison to technologists, nursing personnel, internal departments, and sales representatives.
