AdventHealth in TAVARES, FL is seeking a dedicated patient care technician for a full-time night shift position. You will prepare rooms, greet new admissions, and assist with transfers while ensuring patient safety and comfort.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPCT/A, CNA, EMT certification required or preferred.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English, written and spoken.
• Proficient in basic computer skills and EMR documentation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare rooms for new admissions and orient patients to their rooms.
• Transfer patients between beds, stretchers, and wheelchairs with assistance.
• Document intake/output, vitals, and weights in the EMR.
• Respond to patient call lights and assist with activities of daily living as ordered.
