Job summary

The Villages in Oxford, FL is seeking a Patient Care Technician (PCT) for full-time night shifts. You will provide essential patient care, including bathing, feeding assistance, hourly rounds, and safe transport within the facility.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED or 3+ years of relevant work experience.
• Hospital experience as a nursing assistant or related field preferred.
• BLS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Bathing patients using basin-less bath products, oral hygiene, oral feeding and hair care.
• Participate in hourly rounds.
• Transport patients to and from treatment centers; assist transporters with moving patients in and out of stretchers and wheelchairs.
• Maintain cleanliness of instruments and equipment (bedpans, urinals, wheelchairs).
• Keep patients' rooms clean and orderly.
• Maintain unit stock levels of supplies and equipment as directed.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
