Job summary

Staffmark is seeking an Injection Process Technician for a direct-hire role in Chattanooga, TN. You will set up molding machines, manage mold/tool changes, and verify processes with quality documentation.

The position requires 3–5 years of experience in injection molding, familiarity with ERP/ manufacturing systems, and strict adherence to HSE/LOTO procedures. Competitive hourly pay and a collaborative team await.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Technical certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, or related field preferred.
• Additional training in robotics, injection molding, or manufacturing processes is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Set up, start, stop, and adjust injection molding machines and ancillary equipment per production needs.
• Perform mold and tool changeovers following safety procedures and schedules.
• Support machine startups, process verification, and initial part approvals with quality documentation.
• Monitor operations to ensure quality and efficiency; adhere to process standards.
• Troubleshoot minor machine, tooling, and process issues and document all actions.
• Enter production data into SAP, MATTEC, and WILLE; support continuous improvement efforts.
• Ensure compliance with HSE requirements including LOTO and safety standards.
• Collaborate with Injection Process Engineers, operators, quality, and maintenance teams to optimize performance.
