Metro Plastics Technologies in Noblesville, IN is seeking a Press (Machine) Operator for a 12:00 AM to 6:15 AM shift. The role involves tending injection molding machines, performing finishing and assembly tasks, and ensuring parts meet quality standards.

Ideal candidates have a HS diploma or GED and 1–6 months in manufacturing, with strong communication skills and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Lifting up to 50 pounds may be required.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED; vocational training in related field a plus.
• 1–6 months of work experience; manufacturing environment preferred.
• Experience with injection molding machines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Self-starter and able to work without close supervision.
• Flexibility and ability to manage change effectively.
• Work is performed in a manufacturing environment; standing/walking required.
• Lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally; 25 pounds frequently; 10 pounds regularly.
• Vision abilities: close, distance, color vision, and ability to focus.

Responsibilities

• Tend to molding machines and monitor performance.
• Follow work instructions to ensure quality and efficiency.
• Inspect parts for defects and pass only those meeting standards.
• Handle secondary processing and use small tools as needed.
• Maintain clean and safe production area with PPE usage.
• Assemble, reassemble, or rework parts as required.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
