Job summary

Graham Packaging Company is seeking a Machine Operator based in Fremont, OH for a night shift (6:48pm-7:00am) on a 12-hour, 2-2-3 schedule. You will operate plastic blow molding machines, ensuring safe, efficient production of containers and performing routine adjustments.

Qualifying candidates have at least 2 years in manufacturing, strong attendance, and solid communication skills to interact with supervisors, peers, and external partners.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing is required.
• Ability to maintain regular, predictable, and punctual attendance.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with internal and external customers.
• Work well under pressure and meet deadlines with a positive attitude.
• Capable of working independently and completing assignments.

Responsibilities

• Operate a group of plastic blow molding machines and related equipment safely and with high quality.
• Follow safety, health, quality GMP policies and company procedures.
• Perform mold, insert and color changes on the line as needed.
• Conduct minor machine adjustments to improve efficiency and reduce scrap.
• Assist in troubleshooting and maintenance with other operators and technicians.
• Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner.
• Train new operators and communicate production needs to shift leads.
