Job summary

Rudolph Foods Company in Lima, OH is seeking an experienced Industrial Maintenance Technician for the night shift (6:00 PM–6:00 AM) on a rotating 2-2-3 schedule. You will troubleshoot, repair, and maintain packaging and processing equipment to minimize downtime and support safe, efficient production.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, a two-year technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience, and strong mechanical/electrical skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Two-year technical degree or 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical and electrical systems.
• Basic computer skills.
• Working knowledge of electrical safety practices.
• Ability to read schematics, manuals, and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic equipment.
• Perform emergency repairs to minimize downtime.
• Complete preventive maintenance according to established schedules.
• Diagnose equipment issues and implement corrective actions.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals, blueprints, and work orders.
• Assist with equipment installations, changeovers, and machine setup.
• Fabricate or modify parts when necessary.
• Accurately complete maintenance work orders and required documentation.
• Maintain appropriate spare parts inventory.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to increase equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Work closely with production personnel to maximize equipment performance.
