Job summary

100Hires, Inc. in Schaumburg is seeking a hands-on Night Maintenance Technician to own equipment health from 7:00pm to 7:00am.

You’ll triage line alarms, lock out and swap components to bring machines back online, while performing scheduled PMs on conveyors, motors, gearboxes, pneumatics, and hydraulics. You’ll document work orders on a tablet, communicate with operators and leads, train junior staff, and support contractors as needed.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of hands-on maintenance experience in a manufacturing setting.
• Strong electrical aptitude and the ability to read/interpret schematics and blueprints.

Responsibilities

• Respond rapidly to breakdowns on the plant floor and restore equipment safely.
• Fault-find and repair electro-mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and basic plumbing issues.
• Carry out preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance to maximize uptime.
• Complete and document assigned work orders using a tablet.
