Job summary

Aerotek is seeking experienced Maintenance Technicians for the 3rd shift in Daytona Beach, FL to perform preventative and reactive maintenance on automated food production and packaging equipment in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting, and proficiency with PLCs and VFDs. This onsite role offers a 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM schedule and hourly pay of $25–$34.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience troubleshooting electrical systems up to 480V.
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair industrial bakery and packaging equipment.
• Diagnose and repair electrical systems, including motors, relays, sensors, contactors, switches, and VFDs.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on production equipment.
• Troubleshoot hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
• Repair conveyors, gearboxes, bearings, pumps, drive systems, and other manufacturing machinery.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
• Program and troubleshoot basic VFD applications.
• Support equipment installations, upgrades, and continuous improvement projects.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, Arc Flash, Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), and food safety standards.
• Respond quickly to production downtime issues and prioritize maintenance calls.
• Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and parts inventory records.
• Assist with sanitation efforts and production startup activities.
