Job summary

Sheridan Brimfield is hiring an Industrial Maintenance Technician for the night shift to keep production lines running across catalogs and educational materials. You’ll receive paid training, cross-training, and clear advancement opportunities in a safety-focused environment.

The role requires 4–6+ years of experience with electrical and mechanical maintenance, reading drawings, and lockout/tagout procedures.

Qualifications

• 4–6+ years maintaining and installing industrial equipment.
• Experience with high-voltage systems and electrical troubleshooting.
• Ability to read electrical and mechanical drawings and follow lockout/tagout procedures.
• Team player with a self-starter mindset and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair electrical, electronic, and mechanical issues on production equipment to minimize downtime.
• Read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings, schematics, and ladder logic to isolate faults.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance using a full range of hand/power tools and test equipment.
• Collaborate with production to prioritize work orders, support changeovers, and reduce repeat failures.
• Document maintenance activities and recommend reliability improvements.
