Job summary

prattexternalcareersite is seeking a 3rd Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain, repair, and optimize industrial converting and corrugating equipment to minimize downtime. The role requires safe practices, strong electrical and mechanical skills, and prior maintenance experience in manufacturing.

Responsibilities include diagnosing faults, planning repairs, operating welding processes, and using maintenance software to document work while ensuring safety and teamwork on a night shift with

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in manufacturing maintenance.
• Electrical and mechanical experience preferred; corrugated industry preferred.

Responsibilities

• Apply safe working practices and preventive maintenance principles.
• Troubleshoot and repair equipment to minimize downtime.
• Diagnose mechanical faults and plan corrective actions.
• Understand power transmission: belts, shafts, gears, bearings, and couplings.
• Disassemble and replace drive belts and bearings as needed.
• Operate welding processes (MIG/TIG/Stick) when required.
• Use maintenance software (i-maintenance) to track work.
• Support daily preventive maintenance and report issues promptly.
• Assist with in-house wastewater treatment and housekeeping.
