Job summary

Conagra Brands in Archbold, Ohio is seeking a Facilities Technician to cover stationary engineers and facilities technicians across all shifts. You will maintain plant utilities, troubleshoot electrical and mechanical equipment, and support boiler operations with a third-class steam license.

Ideal candidates have a two-year technical degree or equivalent experience and knowledge of PLCs, frequency drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration, boiler and HVAC systems.

Qualifications

• Two-year technical degree or equivalent maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of PLCs, frequency drives, pneumatics, hydraulics, refrigeration, boiler and HVAC systems.
• Experience in food manufacturing is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for stationary engineers and facilities/utilities technicians across all shifts.
• Support plant facilities and utility systems including ammonia refrigeration, air systems, and boiler/steam systems.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical and mechanical equipment throughout the building.
• Plan alternate activities to maximize opportunities during downtime or delays.
• Collaborate with production, engineering, contractors, and other teams to support new processes and trials.
• Maintain records and inventories; keep work areas organized and clean.
• Follow safety policies, OSHA requirements, GMPs, and 5S standards.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
