Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• AAS in Industrial Maintenance or 2 years facility maintenance experience.
• Ability to comprehend and retain written procedures.
• Knowledge of general and job-specific safety practices.
• Ability to read mechanical drawings, Isometric drawings.
• Hand tools and power tools proficiency.
• Ability to work with hazardous chemicals.
• Ability to work in extreme conditions (hot, cold, humid, slippery).
• Acceptable safety record.

Responsibilities

• Maintain mechanical operation of all plant equipment in designated areas.
• Read and interpret training materials, operation and maintenance manuals, and drawings.
• Install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain plant equipment under supervision.
• Respond to mechanical line calls and complete work orders.
• Plan and schedule additional work as needed.
• Ensure spare parts are available and order parts as required.
• Perform preventive maintenance on all plant equipment.
• Keep work area clean, organized and operable.
• Maintain daily log and communicate with supervision and other departments.
