Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH company, is seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic for night shift to perform preventive and predictive maintenance on equipment, tools, and machinery. Responsibilities include hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, welding, light machining, lubrication, and electrical components, with opportunities to assist mobile mechanics and plant personnel.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, vocational training, and the ability to read instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Technical or vocational certification or equivalent training preferred.
• Ability to read and follow instructions and operation manuals.

Responsibilities

• Install, adjust, and repair production equipment and special‑purpose machines.
• Operate hand and power tools to repair, grease, parts and complete tasks.
• Welding, torching, and light machining as required.
• Perform general repairs and preventive maintenance on plant structures.
• Maintain a clean and orderly work area.
• Test and troubleshoot malfunctioning machinery and determine repairs.
• Install equipment and electrical components and test for proper operation.
• Dismantle equipment to access defective parts using hoists, cranes and tools.
• Replace and install parts; lubricate and clean equipment as needed.
• Other duties related to the job as assigned.
