Job summary
URBN is seeking an Industrial Automation Maintenance Specialist in Missouri to keep conveyors, sensors and automation equipment running at peak performance. You will diagnose issues, perform preventive maintenance, read electrical schematics, and support root cause analysis while mentoring junior technicians.
Ideal candidates have 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience, strong electrical/mechanical troubleshooting skills up to 480V, and familiarity with CMMS systems for work tracking and
Qualifications
- 2+ years of industrial maintenance experience in automation and conveyors.
- Fluent in electrical and mechanical troubleshooting up to 480V.
- Working knowledge of pneumatics, conveyors, and basic PLC/controls.
- Ability to interpret schematics and perform basic PLC/HMI diagnostics.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical equipment up to 480V.
- Service motors, VFDs, sensors, gearboxes, bearings and pneumatics.
- Troubleshoot automation across conveyors, sortation, ASRS, and packaging.
- Clear jams; resolve sensor faults; fix minor electrical and pneumatic failures.
- Execute preventive maintenance and calibrations to maximize uptime.
- Document work orders and PMs in CMMS with clear notes.
- Support root cause analysis (RCA) and continuous improvement.
