Job summary

Responsibilities include delivering nursing care, assessing patients, documenting outcomes, planning care, and supervising ancillary staff while adhering to hospital policies and standards.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current State of Michigan Registered Nurse license.
• ACLS required within six months for critical care units; NRP, PALS and TNCC may be required.
• One year of professional nursing experience.
• ACLS preferred in other units.

Responsibilities

• Deliver nursing care within unit scope of practice following policies and standards.
• Assess patients, document and evaluate response to plan of care, adjust as needed.
• Plan and implement plan of care and provide patient teaching.
• Oversee ancillary personnel for technical tasks.
